The Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Wyoming is seeking applicants for a lecturer position focused on agribusiness and agricultural economics. This full-time, 9-month, benefited appointment will have responsibilities for teaching (95%) and service (5%). The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses to help the department maintain core capacities within the Agribusiness, Farm and Ranch Management, International Agriculture, and Livestock Business Management degree options. The individual may also assist in advising/mentoring undergraduate students with agricultural economics degree.

Minimum Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in agricultural economics or related area is required with an emphasis in farm or agribusiness management, marketing, sales, banking, or finance. Candidates must be committed to undergraduate education.

Desired Qualifications:
A demonstrated background and practical teaching experience in either formal (such as traditional classroom instruction) or informal (such as extension education, adult audiences, industry training, etc.) settings is highly preferred.
