EPoD India at IFMR is accepting applications for one post-doctoral fellowship in economics and public policy, based in India.

Applicants should have a PhD in economics, public policy, or related field, with advanced quantitative coursework and a strong academic performance. Applicants should also possess a solid understanding of research project design and have experience with data collection and fieldwork.

The Fellow will support a portfolio of projects at the intersection of financial inclusion and gender, with a focus on effective direct benefit transfer delivery. The position will offer the candidate first-hand experience conducting empirical research at the forefront of economic research and public policy.

Responsibilities within the project portfolio include supporting research design and implementation, overseeing data collection and analysis, and managing grants and project staff.

This position is based in India with frequent travel throughout the country. This is a one year position with possibility of a second year extension.
