Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics

The Department of Economics at Wofford College invites applications for a one year visiting assistant professor to start in the fall 2019. The teaching load will be three courses per semester, with two sections of introductory microeconomics and one section of managerial economics in the fall. There is some flexibility in the course assignments for the spring semester.

Qualification
A Ph.D. is required for appointment as a Visiting Assistant Professor; however, consideration will be provided for both ABD candidates as well as candidates with a master’s degree that have 18 graduate credit hours in economics or a closely related field. Preference will be given for qualified candidates with demonstrated strong teaching experience in introductory microeconomics and managerial economics.
