The Department of Economics at North Carolina A&T State University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The successful candidate will be responsible for continuously publishing in quality peer-reviewed journals while developing and delivering quality course content in economics at the undergraduate and MBA levels, both on campus and online. Continuous professional engagement, including department, college and university service are also expected.

The position requires an earned doctorate in Economics or Applied Economics by the anticipated date of appointment and demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and research appropriate to the level of appointment. Highly desirable candidates will have evidence of effective undergraduate teaching and an active research agenda leading to publication in high-quality journals. We also highly value candidates with experience in effective online teaching practices and an active record of professional activity.
