Description
Located 36 miles east of Atlanta, Oxford College of Emory University invites applications for a one-year visiting faculty position beginning August 2019. The rank will be Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Lecturer, depending on qualifications. Applicants must possess a PhD in economics or be ABD with experience and a record of teaching. Teaching experience is desired. Teaching load is 3/3, including principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, and an elective in the candidate’s field of specialization (with a prerequisite of no more than principles of micro and/or macroeconomics).

Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Economics completed by the time of appointment for appointment at Visiting Assistant Professor; ABD in Economics for appointment at Visiting Lecturer. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to and record of teaching excellence. An ability to work effectively in a liberal arts program with a diverse student body and faculty is desired.
