Colorado College Economics and Business Department announces a one-year, non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Economics position to begin August 2019. A PhD in economics is preferred, but ABD will be considered.

The College actively promotes a dynamic and inclusive environment in which students and employees of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives can learn and work. Applicants should address how they can contribute to this goal in their cover letter. Applications require a curriculum vitae, a statement of research interests and teaching philosophy, writing sample, contact information (email addresses) for three letters of recommendation, and a (unofficial) graduate school transcript. Optional: evidence of teaching effectiveness, if available.

The teaching load is five blocks per year plus supervision of senior thesis students. Applications accepted until the position is filled.

The department plans to hold skype/phone interviews in the first quarter of 2019, and may invite one or more top candidates for an on-campus interview.
