Full Text of JOE Listing:

The NUIST ­Reading Academy is seeking to appoint two full­time economics lecturers to teach introductory and intermediate microeconomics, quantitative methods, and econometrics.

The Academy is located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China, and is a joint venture between the University of Reading and the Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST). The Academy aims to provide high­-quality education to students in China with the possibility of completing degree courses in the UK.

Job Particulars:
Two full­ time economics lecturer posts at NUIST­ Reading Academy.
Annual salary (RMB, before tax): 250,000+
Travel allowance: 10,000 RMB per year
Medical Insurance
Housing accommodations provided.
Starting date: August 2019

Responsibilities:
The Academy delivers all courses in English. The appointees will have the following responsibilities:
Teach on the BSc International Economics and Trade;
Hold weekly office hours.

Requirements:
Proficiency in English;
PhD in Economics.

Desirable:
Experience in teaching economics in an university environment;
Documented excellence in classroom;
Documented excellence as an academic advisor to undergraduates;
Experience dealing with students from diverse backgrounds;
