Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Division of Applied Social Sciences at the University of Missouri seeks applications for a non-tenure track appointment at the level of full professor. The successful candidate will participate in domestic and international programs with the Food and Agricultural Policy Research Institute (FAPRI) and serve as a faculty member in the Division. Responsibilities include agricultural market and policy research, outreach to disseminate research results, and interaction with policy makers, as well as teaching, advising, and other Division duties.

The selected candidate will have a PhD (or equivalent) in agricultural or applied economics, economics or a related social sciences discipline, and will be expected to collaborate within an interdisciplinary environment. (S)He must have the capability to link scholarship work with engagement and policy efforts that extend past the University campus to national policy makers and opinion leaders. (S)He should also have experience in attracting external funding.
