The Department of Economics at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse invites applications for a Research Economist or Post Doc position with competitive compensation and benefits. The position responsibilities are 100 percent research. The position is fully funded for one year via an external grant. Additional years of funding are likely.

The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to scholarly activities that result in peer-reviewed publications. The candidate should possess expertise in Experimental Economics and/or Political Economy. An ideal candidate will help design and run experiments in the recently established experimental laboratory on campus.

Compensation for the position is $60,000 plus benefits per nine-month academic year. There are no mandated teaching responsibilities. If the candidate wishes to teach, however, courses will likely be available and would include additional compensation.

The start date for the position is August, 2019.
