Nestlé USA has opened its new North American Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, directly across from Washington, D.C. As the US headquarters of the world’s leading nutrition, health and wellness company, our focus is not only about nourishing our customers, it’s about enriching you. We are currently seeking a Statistical Modeling Scientist to join our Supply Chain Analytics Center of Excellence team. The team consists of PhDs and Master’s degree graduates in various fields. As a statistical modeling scientist, you will lead forecasting model and business process design in collaboration with the statistical modeling team and business leaders.
Requirements: A graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, business or related discipline. 3+ years’ experience in business forecasting / analysis. Must have expert SAS experience, including SAS HPF or the equivalent modeling experience in a comparable statistical application/code.
Recommended: Strong analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret data and build quantitative models of business problems. Good facilitation and presentation skills, including training delivery. High-initiative, self-starter and able to work with limited supervision.
