School of Economics at Sichuan University, funded by a long-term "National 985 Leading Disciplines Innovation Project" of the Ministry of Education, is now offering several positions at all levels in many fields, including Corporate Finance, Microeconomics, Econometrics, Industrial Organization, Development Economics, International Trade, Economic History, History of Economic Thinking and Statistics. The position requires a doctor’s degree (or expected completion in 2019). All candidates who have a strong interest in research are particularly encouraged to apply. Generally, the teaching load is three courses per year with only two courses requirement in the first two years for tenure track assistant professors.
Teaching will be conducted in Chinese or English at the undergraduate, M.A. and Ph.D. levels.
Compensation package includes very competitive salary, research funds, housing allowances, plus standard fringe benefits. Appointees are expected to engage in active research and teaching. Candidates with great potential or well-established credentials will be considered.
