Wesleyan College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the assistant professor level beginning in August 2019.

Wesleyan College, a four-year liberal arts college for women, is a leader in women’s education.

Excellence in teaching is our first priority, though evidence of research abilities and commitment to scholarly activity is expected. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Economics or related discipline and the ability to teach a variety of courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels (A.B.D. will be considered.) The department is especially interested in finding someone to teach macroeconomics, finance, money & banking, history of economic thought, and international business courses. Courses in managerial economics and finance are available in our MBA program. Teaching load is seven courses in the academic year.

Interviews will be held at the American Economic Association meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, January 4-6, 2019, for candidates who are attending the conference.
