The Department of Economics and Finance at the University of North Carolina Wilmington expects to hire for an assistant or associate professor position to begin in the fall of 2019. Candidates must either have a Ph.D. or provided evidence that will complete their Ph.D. by August 2019. (Exceptions may be made in exceptional cases for a degree to be completed by August 2020.) Desired fields include international trade and economic development.
Applicants must have a desire to excel in both teaching and research. Anticipated teaching load is a 3-3 with commensurate research expectations.
Salary is competitive.
