The Sargent Institute of Quantitative Economics and Finance (SIQEF) at Peking University HSBC Business School invites applications from qualified individuals for multiple full time tenure-track faculty positions in macroeconomics beginning in Fall 2019. Candidates with strong quantitative skills and skills in empirical macroeconomics are especially welcomed. Rank and Salary are commensurate with the applicant's academic record. Applicants should be committed to teaching and research of the highest quality. Candidates for a tenured position must have an outstanding record of scholarly achievement and a proved evidence of teaching excellence. SIQEF was formally founded on June 8, 2017. Named in honor of the 2011 Nobel laureate in Economics, Professor Thomas Sargent, the institute's development goal is to become a leading place to study and do research in quantitative economics and finance in China with accreditation for EPAS and AACSB. The PHBS UK Campus is the first ever satellite campus of any Chinese university located outside China.
