The Business Economics group and Marriner S. Eccles Institute for Economics and Quantitative Analysis at the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business announces multiple tenure-track positions in applied economics. Successful candidates will conduct high-quality research that complements our growing research community—our current faculty members publish in top general interest and field journals in economics.

The appointments are in the Department of Finance (Business Economics) at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level and begin in the 2019-2020 academic year. Rank will be considered subject to qualifications. Applicants should possess a doctorate or be near completion. Salaries, research support, and teaching loads are competitive with top business schools and the fringe benefits are excellent. Successful applicants will conduct research, teach classes in their areas of expertise, and be involved in service to the community, university, business school, Institute, and business economics group.

Representatives of the David Eccles School of Business will attend the 2019 meetings of the American Economic Association.
