BUSPH has an opening for a faculty member with expertise in health system economics, health economics modeling, and/or health economic impact evaluation in low or middle-income countries and with field experience, strong quantitative skills, and prior work in global public health. Focus may include the design and evaluation of health system interventions, cost-effectiveness analysis, mathematical modeling to improve resource utilization, or the application of behavioral economics.

The successful candidate will strengthen DGH’s research programs in the economics and epidemiology of HIV, infectious diseases, MCH, health systems, and access to medicines. The candidate will be expected to lead an independent research agenda in line with departmental priorities, actively engage in collaborative research, participate in teaching and mentoring master’s and doctoral students, and provide service to the department, university, and profession. Successful candidates will have strong potential (Assistant) or demonstrated track record (Associate/Full) of conducting global health field research, publishing in top journals, and securing external research funding.
