The Department of Economics invites applications from qualified candidates for a preliminary (confirmation-track) appointment at the rank of Instructor I, beginning July 1, 2019.

The successful candidate will be committed to teaching excellence and be capable of teaching a range of courses in our undergraduate program. Teaching will be primarily at the first- and second-year levels. These courses are integral to the successful functioning of the Department.

The duties for this position are primarily undergraduate teaching. There are no research expectations associated with this position.

Candidates should hold (or expect to complete prior to the date of appointment) a doctoral degree, or the equivalent, in economics and have a record of effective undergraduate teaching.
