The Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics of the University of Zurich invites applications for a
Postdoctoral Researcher in the Economics of Technological Change and Inequality
The Department of Economics of the University of Zurich is seeking to fill a Postdoctoral position starting September 2019. Applicants should have a PhD degree in Economics before taking up the position. The appointment is for a two-year contract, renewable once.
The research focus of the position is on topics broadly related to technological change and inequality. For instance, the effects of automation on labor markets, or the causes of the decline in the labor share.
The Department of Economics offers an exciting research environment, competitive terms and conditions, and generous research support. Knowledge of German is not a requirement.

Interviews will be conducted at the European Job Market for Economist in Naples, December 2018 and at the ASSA-AEA meetings in Atlanta, January 2019.
