The University of Mississippi’s Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position beginning August 2019.

The Department has a need for an applied microeconomist who can teach at the graduate and the undergraduate levels.
Candidates for the applied microeconomist position with secondary fields related to labor econometrics, applied microeconometrics, or public economics, as examples, are also desirable. A Ph.D. completed by August 2019, is expected.

Applicants must provide a curriculum vita, one or more working papers, evidence of effective classroom teaching, a graduate transcript, and three letters of recommendation. The letter of application should describe current and projected research and teaching interests.
