The University of Hartford’s Barney School of Business seeks candidates for a visiting full-time, non-tenure track position in economics and statistics. The position will start in January 2019, subject to renewal for one year in June 2019 and then for another year in June 2020.

The visiting faculty will teach three courses (a combination of both MBA and undergraduate) per semester. MBA courses are offered online as well as onsite and faculty should be prepared to teach in both modalities. The faculty should also engage in scholarly efforts such as publishing journal articles, book chapters, and so on. Ideal candidates hold a doctorate in economics and have teaching experience. Candidates with a Master’s degree in economics may be considered provided they have substantial teaching and professional/industrial experience in economics and statistics.
