UW–Madison’s La Follette School of Public Affairs is recruiting a tenure track/tenured faculty member to conduct productive research and teach in the area of economic development.

The selected scholar will perform research and teaching in the areas of economic development and state and local public finance. This scholar would be expected to teach courses in public budgeting and economic development. The strongest candidate would be a scholar who is capable and interested in engaging in public dialogues related to economic development and state and local public finance, as well as in advising state and local government officials on these topics.

The expectation for qualifications is a PhD focused on state and local development/public finance, and in a related field. Applicants should demonstrate excellence and productivity in research and a commitment to teaching.
