The Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia invites applications for a faculty position in the Global Economies and Markets area. The position can be filled at the Assistant, Associate and Full Professor levels to begin in fall 2019.

Applicants must have a PhD in economics. While any fields of expertise will be considered, preference is given to applied microeconomic fields in an international context using rigorous econometric methods. Applicants for a position as an assistant professor must show potential for excellence in research and teaching. Applicants for more senior appointments must demonstrate an outstanding record of research productivity, impact, and teaching. At Darden we are very interested in research that is relevant to managers and/or policymakers.
