The Northwestern University Department of Economics anticipates filling an opening at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning September 1, 2019. Duties include teaching, research, and advising graduate students. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. by the start date. Primary considerations for all faculty positions will be an outstanding research record, excellent recommendations, and teaching ability. Our primary goal is to identify outstanding candidates.
