CERGE-EI, the joint workplace of Charles University and of the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences, invites applications for tenure-track positions as well as for senior positions with tenure. Depending on the candidate's profile, three-year postdoc positions may also be available. We welcome outstanding candidates from all fields of economics, though we are primarily looking for microeconomists with a focus on theoretical research.

CERGE-EI combines a U.S.-style Ph.D. program in economics with an economics research center. Teaching loads are light and the research environment is excellent. Salary, including performance-based supplements, is very competitive along the range of Western European academic salaries. There are no language or citizenship requirements other than fluency in English.

Selected candidates will be invited for interviews at the ASSA meetings in Atlanta, the EEA meetings in Naples, or will be interviewed via Skype. Candidates should indicate in their cover letter for which interview location(s) they wish to be considered.
