The Department of Economics and Finance in the Franklin P. Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University is accepting applications for a tenure-track position at the level of assistant professor to begin in the fall of 2019. Preference will be given to candidates with a focus on health economics. Primary job duties include teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, engaging in scholarship commensurate with the mission, service/outreach to the University, advising, and mentoring. Candidates must demonstrate an effective teaching style that supports a diverse student body. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Economics with a specialty in Health Economics. If ABD; would be hired at the rank of Instructor, with the expectation that the candidate completes the doctoral degree within one year of date of hire. Preference will be given to candidates with documented excellence in both teaching and scholarship along with evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills.
