The Economics Department at the University of California, Santa Cruz invites applications for an Associate Professor (tenured) in international trade and applied microeconomics (JPF00634-19). The position targets the intersection of international trade and applied microeconomics with possible overlap with development, labor, immigration, industrial organization, and other fields in applied microeconomics.

The Economics Department has a Ph.D. program, a professional Master’s program, and several undergraduate programs. Possible related areas of teaching might include introductory, intermediate, and graduate levels of international trade, econometrics, and topics in applied microeconomics. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate level; advise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students and work with students, faculty and staff from a wide range of social and cultural backgrounds.
