Assistant Professor Opening

Simon Fraser University Department of Economics

The Department of Economics at Simon Fraser University seeks to make a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor.

The expected start date is July 1, 2019. Preference will be given to candidates in the area of econometrics. Excellence in research and teaching are the primary criteria for this position. The candidate must hold a PhD in economics or a closely related field by the employment start date and be well qualified to teach at the PhD level although teaching at all levels is expected.

Applications must include a cover letter, a CV, three confidential reference letters, job market paper, evidence of teaching effectiveness, and samples of research papers.
