The College of Literature Science and the Arts (LSA) at the University of Michigan seeks outstanding scholars in all liberal arts fields whose research/scholarship and/or teaching/mentoring and/or service/engagement will contribute to the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) goals of our institution.

The two-year fellowship provides early career natural scientists, humanists, and social scientists with dedicated research time, mentorship, teaching experience, travel funding, and professional development opportunities to prepare them for possible tenure-track appointments in LSA.

Eligibility:
Applications are welcome from any humanities, social science, or natural science field represented in LSA academic departments. For applicants in the social sciences or humanities, doctoral degrees should be completed between January 1, 2016 and July 1, 2019. Predoctoral fellowships may be available in economics and political science; doctoral degree must be completed by July 1, 2020.
