The Department of Economics at Loyola Marymount University invites applications for a tenure-track professor position starting in August 2019. We seek candidates in Urban/Regional Economics with complementary studies on minority communities and/or applied political economy. Candidates with experience in using Geographical Information Systems (GIS) are strongly encouraged to apply. Faculty members are expected to achieve excellence in scholarship and teaching and to contribute meaningfully to service. Departmental representatives will attend the ASSA meetings in Atlanta in January 2019, where interviews will be conducted.
