Yale-NUS College, a collaboration between the National University of Singapore and Yale University, invites applications for up to two (2) tenure track positions at the Assistant Professor rank in any field of specialisation in Economics.

Applicants should be scholars with a relevant PhD who will establish and maintain an active research programme with a commitment to creative and effective undergraduate teaching and mentoring within Economics and in the Yale-NUS Common Curriculum. The appointee will be expected to begin their duties in time for the start of the 2019-2020 academic year. Salary, benefits, and leave policies will be competitive at an international level. Yale-NUS College is committed to supporting faculty research through various grants, research, and travel allowances.

Applications should consist of the following: a cover letter explaining why the position at Yale-NUS is of interest; a full curriculum vitae, including a complete list of publications; statements on research interests, teaching experience, and teaching philosophy, including how these might fit with the College’s particular mission and curriculum; three reference letters (to be submitted by the reference writers via JOE); and other relevant documents.

Applications should be submitted via JOE. Review of application will begin November 24, 2018 and continue until the position is filled. Interviews will be held at the upcoming ASSA Meetings in Atlanta (January 2019). Cover letters should indicate if applicants plan to attend the upcoming American meeting.
