Description:

The School of Social Sciences and Institute for Mathematical Behavioral Sciences (IMBS) at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) invites applications for the Falmagne Endowed Chair in Mathematical Behavioral Sciences. Applicants should have an exemplary track record of innovative mathematical approaches to important questions in the social and behavioral sciences in the tradition of Duncan Luce, the founding Director of the IMBS. We are especially interested in candidates at the Full Professor level. The final candidate will be hired in the Professor series with the title of Falmagne Chair subject to review and approval by a separate distinctions committee and will also be considered for the position of Director of the IMBS.
