Full Text of JOE Listing:

The NUIST ­Reading Academy is seeking to appoint two full ­time economics lecturers to teach introductory and intermediate microeconomics, quantitative methods, econometrics and economics of social policy.

The Academy is located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China, and is a joint venture between the University of Reading and the Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST). The Academy aims to provide high ­quality education to students in China with the possibility of completing degree courses in the UK.
Job particulars:

Two full­ time economics lecturer posts at NUIST­ Reading Academy.
Salary: 180,000 RMB per year;
International travel allowance and accommodation provided.
Starting date: September 2018

Responsibilities:
The Academy delivers all courses in English. The appointees will have the following responsibilities:
Teach on the BSc International Economics and Trade;
Hold weekly office hours.

Requirements:
Proficiency in English;
PhD in Economics.

Desirable:
Experience in teaching economics in a Chinese university environment;
Documented excellence in classroom;
Documented excellence as an academic advisor to undergraduates;
Experience addressing needs of students from diverse backgrounds;
