Northern State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant / Associate rank. The Department of Economics in the School of Business is committed to academic excellence and diversity within our faculty, staff, and student body. The School of Business offers a range of academic degree programs.

NSU School of Business is fully accredited HLC and ACBSP. NSU is located in Aberdeen, South Dakota, a vibrant community in northeastern S.D. The city has a population of approximately 26,000 people and the University enjoys a positive and strong relationship with the city and region.

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in economics and demonstrate excellence in teaching and a desire to publish in top tier journals. Appropriately, qualified candidates will be considered for position, which is an annual renewable appointment.

Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral Degree preferred. Graduate degree with 18 graduate credit hours in economics considered.
