The Meinders School of Business seeks applications for a 12-month, non-tenure track position of Postdoctoral Fellow in Energy Economics.

The visiting fellow will hold the esteemed Martin – Tanenbaum Postdoctoral Fellowship in Energy Economics as a result of generous gifts from the Karl and June Martin Family Foundation and Richard and Glenna Tanenbaum. The Martin - Tanenbaum Fellow is expected to lead an academic research agenda, focused on energy but of their own design, resulting in successful peer-reviewed publications. The institute is home to three distinct centers with an emphasis in data analytics, regional economic forecasting and policy, and Native American economics. Research agenda overlap into one of these areas is strongly encouraged. Strong oral and written communication is required. This Fellowship carries joint requirements for research and teaching.

Qualifications

A Ph.D. in Energy Economics, or a Ph.D. in Economics with an energy and/or policy concentration, is preferred, but ABD with a similar energy concentration and a clear path to completion by August 2018 will be considered.
