Ashoka University invites applications/ nominations for the positions of Professor of Economics. Ashoka is looking for outstanding economists with a proven track record of publications. Candidates from any of the subfields of Economics are welcome. Ashoka welcomes applications from established economists, but also from younger economists who have a demonstrable potential to be leaders in their field.

Ashoka University is a premier Liberal Arts University in India offering undergraduate, Masters and Ph.D. programmes in Humanities, Social Sciences, Economics and the Natural and Mathematical Sciences. Ashoka University is located in the outskirts of Delhi. The Economics Department aims to establish itself as a leading research department in the region while building first-rate graduate and undergraduate teaching programmes.

Ashoka’s compensation is competitive and will be commensurate with the qualifications of the candidate.
