Hartwick College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track appointment, rank of Assistant Professor starting in August 2018. We seek candidates with expertise in Finance interested in teaching Financial Management, Financial Modelling, Investment Analysis, Financial Markets and Institutions, and other courses to meet the needs of the department as well as general education courses, including First Year Seminars. Preference given to those with professional experience, especially in financial management and investment analysis, active engagement through conference presentation and publication, and proven success in the classroom especially if enhanced with other delivery formats, e.g. online/blended courses, simulations or community based learning experiences. Hartwick follows a calendar with 13-week Fall and Spring semesters and a four-week January term, the latter of which presents intriguing possibilities for innovative on and off-campus programs.
