The Department of Economics at Emory University invites applicants for a one year non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor or Lecturer for teaching the applied side of our undergraduate probability, statistics, and econometrics courses. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Economics or a related field, as well as a record of excellence in teaching documented by strong student evaluations and/or peer reviews. We are not interested in fresh PhDs. Successful candidates must be fluent with econometric software packages such as Stata and programming languages such as R and Python. Longer-term opportunities exist for candidates whose performance at Emory is viewed to be excellent.
