The Graduate School of Future Strategy (http://futures.kaist.ac.kr) at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) invites applications for faculty positions at all levels in the areas of future forecasting (applied statistics, time series prediction, network theory, big data analysis etc.), future strategy, science journalism, intellectual property.

The School was established in 2013 to pursue excellence in interdisciplinary research and educations in future strategy research. The School was recently donated $25 million by the Jung Moon Soul Foundation to support research in future strategy.

We seek to make multiple appointments and invite applications from candidates who has expertise and high interest in statistics, data science, management, future strategy, economics, sociology, communications, journalism, law (intellectual property), etc. Successful candidates should have outstanding research accomplishments in these areas, and teaching two or three courses per year is expected. Research seed money for junior faculty is high compared to other leading schools of U.S. Salary will be also commensurate to U.S. schools including other benefits, e.g. housing.
