The Division of Politics, Philosophy and Public Affairs at the University of Washington Tacoma is hiring a temporary full-time lecturer in economics for the 2018-19 academic year. This is a one-year non-renewable position beginning mid-September 2018 that requires teaching 7 courses over three quarters (with 3-4 total course preps). The classes will be a combination of lower-level introductory courses and upper-level elective courses, with the schedule to be determined collaboratively in consideration of the candidate’s expertise and preferences.

Compensation is competitive with that of comparable positions and includes health insurance and retirement benefits.
