The Department of Economics at UNC Asheville, North Carolina’s public liberal arts university, invites applications for a full-time visiting position for academic year 2018-19. Individuals with a passion for undergraduate teaching and interest in a career at an institution focused on the liberal arts are strongly encouraged to apply. The successful applicant can expect to teach four 3 credit hour course sections each semester for a total of eight sections over the year. These courses will average 20-25 students each and will include principles of macroeconomics and introductory corporate finance. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to teach an additional course or courses in their field(s).
