The Department of Economics at Tulane University invites applications for a full-time, one-year position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor to begin fall 2018. A Visiting Assistant Professor will teach three undergraduate courses per semester at the undergraduate level. Candidates should have an advanced degree in economics and a record of excellence in teaching. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated teaching skills; preference will also be given to applicants with research interests in areas where the Department has existing strengths: health and labor economics; public economics; development, inequality, and poverty; and the economics of education.
