The Center for Business and Economic Research in the Lee Business School at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a 12-month, non-tenure track, professional position as Associate Director [EVGR R0108305]. The Associate Director assists the Director in primary and contract research projects and will possess the skills and attributes necessary to assume the role of Director in a few years.

Qualifications: This position requires a MA degree or higher in Economics, Finance, or related field. A PhD is a plus, but not required. Successful applicants will possess excellent statistical and econometric skills and significant applied research experience. Moreover, they will be effective communicators, verbally and orally, and possess prior experience working cooperatively with government agencies and private industry. Other responsibilities include continuing development and marketing of the Center and interacting with the media.
