The Economics Department in the Seidman College of Business at Grand Valley State University is hiring at least one visiting faculty, with a one-year contract, beginning August 2018. We seek applied economists to teach undergraduate courses, but are flexible about candidate fields. Candidates must have some experience teaching Economics. Teaching load is twenty-four credit hours per academic year (typically 12 per semester) with some expectation of involvement with curriculum-related service activities. Preference will be given to candidates with a Doctorate in Economics, however ABD candidates will be considered. Salary is competitive.
