As a member of the Housing Indicators and Analytics team, you will plan, manage and conduct specific research, modelling, projection, and housing data and indicator development initiatives aimed at identifying and addressing housing problems and improving housing and living conditions and the stability of the Canadian financial system and housing markets in Canada. You will provide subject matter expertise to management and contribute to the development and deployment of national policies, strategies, programs, and standards designed to measure and improve housing and living conditions.

Responsibilities:
•Scanning the environment, consulting with clients and stakeholders, participating in conferences and committees, and working groups.
•Reviewing housing research literature/publications to ensure that CMHC is well informed.
•Developing and recommending high impact research, modelling, projection, and housing data and indicator development projects.
•Developing detailed project objectives, scope and deliverables; determining expertise and resources required to deliver the final products.
•Negotiating contracts, contribution agreements and memoranda of understanding, as appropriate.
•Establishing and leading project steering/advisory committees.
•Conducting research and analysis of primary and secondary data.
•Developing background documents, briefing material, correspondence and memoranda.
•Providing substantive expert input to the review and development of housing policies, etc.
•Developing products such as reports, publications, and summary highlights.
