The successful candidate will collaborate with Professors Erica Field (Duke University) and Rachel Glennerster (MIT) on a follow-up survey evaluating the long-term impact of a large-scale intervention to delay marriage and empower girls in rural Bangladesh. (https://www.povertyactionlab.org/evaluation/empowering-girls-rural-bangladesh). This round of surveying will be the fourth, following the baseline in 2007, midline in 2011, and endline in 2015. The position will be funded by a five-year grant. During the first year of the project, the successful candidate will collaborate with Drs. Field and Glennerster in analyzing previous results, preparing manuscripts for publication, and conceptualizing, designing, and planning the field survey.

There is no deadline for applying to the opening, but applications will be considered on a rolling basis starting immediately. The start date is as soon as April 1, 2018, but ideally no later than January 1, 2018. The position comes with very competitive salary and benefits.
