The Department of Economics at the University of Wyoming seeks applicants for an Assistant Professor of Economics with a focus on Applied Microeconomics.

We seek people who have the ability to develop an outstanding research program related to applied microeconomics given challenges in natural resources, environmental policy, energy, land-use, and regulation. All applicants should demonstrate strong interests in applied research, possess excellent quantitative skills, and have the ability to teach graduate econometrics.

The successful candidate is expected to develop an outstanding record of scholarly research, including successful participation in interdisciplinary research and in extramurally funded research projects; develop an successful teaching program at the undergraduate and graduate level, and work to establish a program with stakeholders within WY on resource management and conservation.
