Position Title/Short Description

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct rigorous economic and financial analysis and surveillance on global, Mainland China and Hong Kong economies, with a focus on risk implications
• Closely follow, analyse and report important macroeconomic, regulatory and financial market developments
• Develop empirical analysis by using of new data sources
• Participate in discussions on thematic topics and present findings in internal and external meetings

Requirements:
• Post-graduate university degree in economics, finance, statistics or related fields
• At least three years of professional experience in applied or market-based research
• Experience in analysing large datasets, programming in languages such as STATA or R, or using databases such as CEIC and
Bloomberg an advantage
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Self-motivated and creative, great team player, strong interpersonal and communication skills
