Primary Purpose
Full time tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics and Finance starting August 2018 with responsibilities teaching economics courses, conducting scholarly research leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals and providing service to the College of Business, University and discipline.

Key Responsibilities
Teach economics classes as needed at the undergraduate and graduate level (60%). Conduct significant, relevant research in the field leading to publication in respected peer-reviewed scholarly journals (27%). Provide academic and career advising to students and contribute to the advancement of the College and University (13%).

Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate in Economics or ABD. All candidates must provide evidence of teaching excellence. Candidates seeking the Associate Professor rank must provide evidence of teaching excellence and have a research and publication portfolio commensurate with rank.

Preferred Qualifications
Teaching interest in Intermediate Macroeconomics. Additionally, teaching obligations may include International or Development Economics. Research interest in conducting collaborative research especially in applied microeconomics fields.
