CEPAR seeks to appoint a suitably qualified person at its UNSW Sydney node to join a multi-disciplinary research team committed to transforming thinking about population ageing and establishing Australia as a world leader in the field.

The Research Fellow (Level B Academic) will perform research and collaborate with investigators on issues associated with consumer preferences for superannuation, pensions and other financial products for retirement. The research will involve the design and implementation of experimental surveys and associated econometric analysis, and empirical analysis of individual level member and customer data from superannuation funds and wealth management firms.

The successful applicant will hold a PhD in Economics, Econometrics or a related discipline, or be close to completion of a PhD. In addition, the successful candidate will have high level skills in data analysis, theory and modelling; expertise or a research interest in pension economics and finance; an excellent publication record in a relevant area, relative to opportunity; the ability to work both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary research team; and excellent communication skills.

Applicants should systematically address the selection criteria listed within the position description in your application.
