Postdoctoral Fellowship In Behavioral Economics / Neuroeconomics. A postdoctoral fellowship is available at Duke University for research on individual behavior within group contexts. The fellow will collaborate on experiments examining the effects of identity on behavioral and neuroscientific measures, potentially including behavior in interactive games, measures of the decision process (e.g., eye-tracking), and brain imaging (e.g., fMRI). Duties would include collaborating on experimental design, analyzing empirical data, writing research papers and proposals, and supervising graduate and undergraduate students working on these projects.  

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in a related discipline, relevant research experience, and prior background in both psychology/neuroscience and experimental/empirical methods in economics. Facility with microeconomic theory would be a plus. The postdoctoral fellow would be jointly employed by Professor Scott Huettel in Psychology and Neuroscience and Professor Rachel Kranton in Economics. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
